Murphy's Bank is a complete multi-bank banking system for RedM: several bank brands with real branches, multiple accounts per player, transfers with fees, shared access, weekly interest, all wrapped in a hand-crafted React interface with native RDR sounds and banker NPCs. Every operation is server-validated and atomic, and the whole system runs on REDEM:RP 2023, VORP and RSG-Core with a single config switch.
Banks, not just a bank
- 3 brands and 4 branches out of the box (Saint Denis, Rhodes, Valentine, Blackwater), unlimited brands and branches in config.
- Accounts work at any branch of their brand; other brands need a cross-bank transfer with an extra fee.
- Per-bank UI artwork, banker NPCs with idle scenarios and ambient voice lines, native RDR UI sounds, map blips.
Accounts & transfers
- Several accounts per player. Checking (transfers enabled, 1%/week) and Savings (2%/week, limited withdrawals, no transfers) shipped by default. Every number is configurable and you can add your own types.
- Transfers done right: per-type fees, contact list with favorites and custom labels, atomic SQL transactions, server-side rate limit.
- Shared accounts: grant any player view, deposit/withdraw or full access. Perfect for couples, companies and gangs.
- Full statements: every line keeps its author, label and the balance after it, paged 50 at a time.
- Custom account labels, freeze / unfreeze, owner-only closing.
A living economy
- Weekly interest and maintenance charges on a configurable schedule.
- Salaries from murphy_job / murphy_jobpanel land straight on the player's account (cash fallback when there is none).
Admin tools
- Admin desk at each branch: look up a player's accounts and receive a mailed summary. ACE permission or admin jobs.
- Audit log with Discord export, webhook logging of every operation.
Ecosystem (optional, auto-detected)
- murphy_post: letters for transfers received, large transactions, weekly interest, freeze and closures.
- murphy_politics: a town hall can tax transfers & maintenance and suspend the banking service (withdrawals always stay open).
- murphy_sheriff: officers investigate accounts right at the counter, fully audited.
- murphy_platform: accounts and ledger on the web dashboard, server-wide UI language.
The bank is fully functional standalone. Each bridge activates only when the matching resource runs.
Developer API
11 server exports (Deposit, Withdraw, Transfer, PayCharacter, GetPlayerAccounts, GetAccountDetails…), client exports and a drop-in salary event. Pay a bounty in one line: exports.murphy_bank:PayCharacter(charid, 150.0, 'Bounty: Jim Milton'). Full reference in the docs.
Languages
English and French out of the box: UI, notifications, letters and Discord logs. Add a language without touching code.
Requirements & install
