Murphy's Housing turns property into gameplay with buying, renting, taxation, furnishing, shared access, physical keys, and a secure player-to-player market.

Framework Support and Snail Interiors

Every action is validated server-side. The script detects REDEMRP, RSG and VORP at runtime, so no framework setting needs to be configured.

Murphy's Real Estate was created in collaboration with Snail. Custom interior mappings designed for the script are available on their store. Add a mapping, register it as a template in the configuration, and it becomes a sellable property with visits, decoration, storage, and player market support.

Property Types and Ownership

Instanced interiors: Routing buckets isolate each household and allow unlimited properties from one interior shell. The script includes 21 ready-made templates across poor, medium, and rich tiers, plus gang hideouts and farm and industrial warehouses.
MLO buildings: Physical map doors retain an individual lock state and support knocking and optional lockpicking.
Purchasing and renting: Properties support one-time purchases or weekly rent, weekly property taxes, a configurable resale refund, and per-property payment in USD or GOLD for VIP properties.
Player-to-player market: Owners can list a property at their own price from its door and add an optional description. Buyers receive the same offer sheet used by system sales. Direct mode performs an instant atomic transfer and pays offline sellers on their next spawn. Contact mode sends the owner mail through the post office so the deal can close in RP. An optional commission is credited to the town treasury when murphy_politics is present.
Visits before purchase: Prospective buyers can preview a listed interior from inside for a configurable period before the system returns them outside automatically.
Collective ownership: A property can belong to a job with a minimum grade or to a group or gang. Members receive full use while selling remains restricted to administrators.
Automatic eviction: A daily server-side process checks unpaid taxes, sends warning letters at 7, 3, and 1 days through murphy_post when available, applies a grace period, and then evicts with configurable cleanup.

Keys, Guests, Storage, and Decoration

Physical keys: When enabled, owners can copy and hand out real inventory items. Key holders can operate doors only. Changing a lock or transferring ownership invalidates every previous key.
Granular guest permissions: Permissions for management, rent payment, storage, housing, stable, and production are assigned separately for each guest.
Per-property storage: Capacity is configured per interior template, storage opens through the framework inventory, and access is checked server-side.
Furniture decoration: Free-camera placement uses a Three.js 3D gizmo and a catalog of about 17,000 props with category-based pricing. Interior layouts can be saved and cloned.
Functional props: Any furniture model can be registered in the configuration and connected to a client export or server event when a player interacts with it.

Server Administration and Security

Anti-metagaming: Clients receive only a sanitized public view. Owner identity, guest lists, and tax deadlines never leave the server.
Standalone Discord logs: Purchases, taxes, transfers, evictions, lockpicking, market sales, and key events are sent directly to a webhook. Each event can be toggled without a separate logging resource.
Language support: The UI supports 20 languages, while prompts, notifications, and eviction letters include an English and French script layer. Additional languages can be added without changing code.
Admin tools: In-game creation and management menus include /create_instance, /create_mlo, VIP variants, administrator storage access, and owner assignment.
Developer API: Documented exports, an ownership-change event, functional-prop hooks, and pluggable lockpick and stable integrations are included.

Requirements

The script requires oxmysql and murphy_interact, Murphy's free 3D interaction library. Optional integrations are detected at runtime for murphy_production, murphy_post, murphy_politics, murphy_lockpick, and murphy_stable. The script remains fully functional without them.
